The statue of George Washington stands guard over Boston in this image. Unveiled in 1869, the statue stands 38 feet tall and was built entirely by Boston artisans. It was decided that George should face the 'new' area of Boston (Back Bay) so as to lead the country and Boston into the future.

I'm a photographer living in New England, one of the most diverse landscapes in America.
